The document is a letter from George B. Schwabe, a member of Congress, responding to a letter from T.A. Landreth Jr. expressing opposition to the resurrection of the O.P.A. Schwabe states that he has consistently opposed the O.P.A. and has voted to abolish it whenever possible. He thanks Landreth for his support and assures him that he will continue to fight against the O.P.A. Schwabe also mentions receiving many letters urging him to keep the O.P.A. dead. Landreth urges Schwabe to vote against the reinstatement of price controls.
