Scope and Contents

Sam F. Wilkinson expresses his disapproval of legislation involving further price controls to Honorable George B. Schwabe, stating that the people of Northeastern Oklahoma are hopeful that price controls will not be renewed. He criticizes the OPA for negatively impacting small farmers and praises Canada for not implementing rationing regulations during the war. Wilkinson also questions President Truman's financial judgment and urges Schwabe to continue fighting against price controls.
