Scope and Contents
Mrs. Louise Trezzvant Thomson wrote a letter to Congressman George B. Schwabe expressing her disapproval of legislation involving further price controls. Congressman Schwabe thanked her for her communication and mentioned that many others share her views. He also praised her clear and original statement, and assured her of his appreciation for her contribution to his thinking. Thomson also expressed her hope that people would not abuse the present freedom by raising prices excessively.
