Opposition to the O.P.A.: A Letter from George B. Schwabe, M.C., 1946-06-05
Scope and Contents
Mrs. F. A. Haver writes to Congressman George B. Schwabe expressing her opposition to the O.P.A. and its operations, believing that it is hindering legitimate enterprise in America. Schwabe agrees with her views and mentions that he has consistently voted against the O.P.A. extension. Haver urges Schwabe to vote against keeping the O.P.A. in place and to allow businesses the chance to produce and avoid inflation.
