Standing Up for American Values: A Letter from George B. Schwabe, M.C., 1946-05-16
Scope and Contents
George B. Schwabe, a member of Congress, received a postal card from Mr. R. E. Parsons asking him to vote against a socialistic housing bill and to put a bomb under the OPA. Schwabe responded by saying he had already done both and was willing to do so again, as he believed Parsons was on the right track for doing things in the American way. Schwabe expressed his willingness to use all his energy to carry out Parsons' wishes.
