Scope and Contents
Mr. Banfield sent a telegram to Mr. Schwabe urging him to support the recommendations of the Senate Banking and Currency Committee to remove controls on meat products. Mr. Schwabe responds by expressing his consistent opposition to the OPA program and his belief that price controls should be eliminated to allow for free enterprise. He thanks Mr. Banfield for his wire and support.
