Efforts to Eliminate O.P.A.: A Letter from George B. Schwabe, 1946-05-15
Scope and Contents
The letter is from George B. Schwabe, a member of Congress, responding to a letter from Mr. W. A. Harris urging him to get rid of the O.P.A. Schwabe states that he has voted against the extension of O.P.A. and for restrictions limiting its provisions, but he is not confident that the Administration will allow the bill to pass with these restrictions. Schwabe thanks Harris for his interest and support.
