Scope and Contents
The first letter is from Congressman George B. Schwabe in response to Mr. Thomas G. Leslie's opposition to the O.P.A. and its administration. Schwabe mentions his voting record against the bureau and includes a report on the opinions of people in his district on controversial subjects. The second letter is from Thomas G. Leslie urging Congressman Victor Wickersham to assist in cleaning up the O.P.A. and stopping strikes that interfere with production.
