The document is a letter from George B. Schwabe, a member of the House of Representatives, responding to a letter from Mr. and Mrs. C. A. Gilligan expressing opposition to the O.P.A. Schwabe agrees with their views and states that he has consistently opposed the O.P.A., voting against its extension and for restricting amendments. The Gilligan's also express their opposition to the O.P.A. and hope for its elimination.
