Scope and Contents
The letter is from George B. Schwabe expressing his agreement with Mr. and Mrs. Rovey's opposition to the O.P.A. He believes the bureau is un-American and has attempted to destroy legitimate free enterprise in America. Schwabe has consistently opposed the O.P.A. and voted against its extension. The Roveys also shared their concerns about the O.P.A. and their struggles as small business owners dealing with price controls and black market activities.
