Opposition to O.P.A.: Correspondence between Representative George Schwabe and Nowata Machine Works, 1946-05-08
Scope and Contents
The letter from Mr. C. T. Woodard to Representative George Schwabe expresses opposition to the O.P.A and its practices. Woodard agrees with Schwabe's views on the O.P.A being obnoxious and un-American, and states that the agency should be restricted by Congress to prevent it from being a menace to legitimate business and a boon to the black market. Woodard also lists the services offered by Nowata Machine Works.
