Abolishing O.P.A. and Addressing Labor Strikes: Correspondence with George B. Schwabe, 1946-05-06
Scope and Contents
Earl Drake wrote a letter to George B. Schwabe expressing his disapproval of O.P.A. and advocating for its abolition. He also voiced concerns about the strike situation and believed that allowing businesses to operate competitively based on quality and cost of production would improve the economy. Schwabe agreed with Drake's views and urged him to try to influence their district's Representative to support the abolition of O.P.A. Schwabe expressed his support for Drake's opinions and wished him well.
