Scope and Contents

The letter is from Virgil A. Lovelace to Congressman George B. Schwabe, requesting his support for the Postal Employees Salary Bill H.R. 5059. Schwabe responds by informing Lovelace that the bill passed the House with only one dissenting vote, and expresses his pleasure in working with and for postal employees. Schwabe has always been a friend of postal employees and is happy to have been able to support this legislation.
