Support for H.R. 2071: A Letter Exchange, 1945-03-21
Scope and Contents
Mr. DeWeese wrote to Congressman Schwabe about bill H.R.2071 which would increase the salaries of Post Office employees to be more in line with similar industries. Congressman Schwabe responded, stating that he is familiar with the bill and believes it is a step in the right direction. He assured Mr. DeWeese that he will support the bill when it comes up for a vote and encouraged him to reach out with any other issues of interest.
