Scope and Contents
George H. Holmes, a representative for Universal Trade Press in Oregon, wrote to George B. Schwabe, a member of Congress, expressing appreciation for his articles in the Congressional Record and inquiring about the Townsend Bill. Schwabe responded saying he believes little will be done during the current session of Congress, criticizing the use of political snoopers in distributing funds for older people.
