Scope and Contents

George B. Schwabe, a member of the House of Representatives, received a letter from J.M. Matthews congratulating him on his committee assignments and expressing support for the old-age pension bill. Schwabe also asked Matthews for Jim Smith's address to fulfill a favor. Matthews offered his assistance in the future and wished Schwabe continued success.
