Scope and Contents
Mr. Elmer Parks wrote to Carl Albert regarding the sale of segregated coal lands owned by the Choctaws and Chickasaws. Albert responded, stating that the land is now under the jurisdiction of the Bureau of Land Management and suggested that Parks write directly to them. Albert also offered to check on the purchase if Parks provided details. Parks expressed interest in purchasing the land and asked to be kept informed about the sale.
