Constituent wrote Jones about helping Chief Sylvester Tinker of the Osage Tribe get an appointment with Interior Undersecretary Joseph at Jerry's request. Chief Tinker thanked them for setting up the meeting, which primarily focused on intertribal problems related to conflicts of interest. Chief Tinker, who is Catholic, was impressed by a picture of JRJ with the Pope and said he would send a picture of himself with the Pope to JRJ to put up next to theirs.
