Correspondence Regarding Funding Discrepancy in Oklahoma City Urban Health Project, 1976-06-17 - 1976-07-19
Scope and Contents
Correspondence between Director Hickory Starr, Jr. of the OKC Urban Indian Health Project, Director Emmory Johnson, M.D. of the Indian Health Service, and Congressman Carl Albert regarding concerns by Starr that the OKC Urban Indian Health Project funding was being allocated from the fiscal year 1976 instead of the fiscal year 1975 and that future funds would be affected. Dr. Johnson replied that the $6,100 in question was pulled from FY 1976 as FY 1975 had expired and the funds could not legally be used, and that arrangements were in process to assure the project would be fully funded.
