Scope and Contents

The letter dated February 28, 1967, thanks Mr. Beams for a petition supporting Mr. John H. Spaan for a promotion in the Indian Health Division. The writer had already recommended Mr. Spaan for the position to various officials, and despite the position being filled, they continue to support him. The letter is also addressed to Dr. Rabeau, urging consideration of the petition. The petition itself is signed by various individuals from Oklahoma expressing support for Mr. Spaan for the Executive Officer position.
