The document contains a note from SS and a letter from Acting Director John A. Deering of the Alcohol, Drug Abuse, and Mental Health Administration stating that the National Advisory Council on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism recommended approval of the Choctaw alcoholism grant application however the funds for fiscal year 1976 had not been apportioned yet but were expected by the end of February.
