Scope and Contents
This record contains correspondence between Congressman Carl Albert and J. E. Mayden, Purchasing Agent of the Joseph A. Coy Company. Mayden forwarded a letter written to Mr. Frank Watts, Administrator of the Petroleum Administration for Defense, to Congressman Albert asking advice on how to procure materials for petroleum refinement. Congressman Albert assured Mayden that he would contact the equipment manufacturers branch of the Petroleum of the Administration regarding the issue.
