Scope and Contents
The letter is from Harry S. Belvin, the Principal Chief of the Choctaw Nation, to Clyde Bussey, expressing frustration with the slow processing of Proofs of Heirship in the Per Capita Payment Section. Belvin urges for a reorganization of the section to provide the Indians with the information they deserve. He threatens to take the complaints to higher authorities if the situation does not improve. Belvin also cc's other relevant individuals and authorities in the matter.
