Concerns Regarding Discontinued Old Age Assistance Grant, 1951 November 20 - 27
Scope and Contents
Mr. Simmons Thompson's Old Age Assistance grant was discontinued due to the value of his land being considered as a resource. He wrote to Congressman Albert seeking assistance to reinstate his grant. Congressman Albert's office contacted the Public Welfare Department to look into the matter.
