Scope and Contents

The author is responding to a letter from Leisa regarding false accusations made against them in the Monterey Herald. Governor Olsen and Kilpatrick denied the accusations made by Mrs. Haynes. Kilpatrick won a lawsuit against the Beverly Hills Police Chief and the Los Angeles Times misrepresented the repudiation of Mrs. Haynes' testimony. The author expresses frustration with the media's coverage of the situation and apologizes for causing concern to Leisa.
