Enhancing Indian Self-Determination through Legislative Reform: Testimony of John H. Kyl, 1973-01-01 - 1973-12-31
Scope and Contents
The Bureau of Indian Affairs has announced plans to double the funding for improvements at Chilocco School from $300,000 to as much as $600,000. They also plan to request an additional $500,000 for the design of a new school building. The funds will be used for rehabilitation of dormitories, campus buildings, and general refurbishing. Congressional permission is needed for the re-appropriation of funds, but work at Chilocco could begin early in the spring.
