Richard L. Sifers, a resident of Oklahoma, wrote to Congressman Page Belcher expressing his support for the Jacobs-Javits Bill, which authorizes funds for medical research in artificial kidneys and transplants. Sifers, who currently uses an artificial kidney, emphasized the importance of such research in saving lives and improving quality of life.
