Scope and Contents

Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Good wrote a letter to Congressman Page Belcher thanking him for his efforts in preserving the Girl's Dormitory at the Fort Sill Indian School. The Advisory Board recommended restoring the dormitory, which had been scheduled for demolition due to safety concerns. The Great Plains Historical Association also took action to preserve the building and urged members to write letters to government officials to support its preservation.
