Scope and Contents

The letter from Marie L. Wadley, Executive Secretary of the Muskogee Area office of the Bureau of Indian Affairs, is requesting Congressman Belcher to take action to ensure there are sufficient funds for an effective health program for Indian people in Eastern Oklahoma, particularly addressing the shortage of funds at Tahlequah Public Health Hospital. Mary Higgins, Executive Secretary at the Department of the Interior, acknowledges receipt of the letter and states that she will bring it to Congressman Belcher's attention upon his return to Washington.
