Mr. Wilhite wrote a letter to Representative Page Belcher expressing concern about the transfer of functions of the Bureau of Indian Affairs from Anadarko. He mentioned that Herbert K. Hyde is against the move and offered to assist in trying to prevent the transfer. Representative Belcher acknowledged receiving the letter and assured Mr. Wilhite that he would carefully consider his concerns before making a final decision.
