Scope and Contents

Norman Barker, an attorney, is having difficulty collecting attorney fees from Mrs. Sallie Hall for services in procuring the removal of restrictions on her land. The Bureau of Indian Affairs does not believe Barker's assistance was necessary and does not approve the payment of fees from the land sale proceeds. Barker has written to Congressman Page Belcher for help in resolving the issue.
