Scope and Contents
A letter was sent from Mr. J.C. Dunham to Rep Page Belcher regarding the fishing regulations at the Salt Plains National Wildlife Refuge. The Department of the Interior explained that the area is managed for wildlife protection and fishing is allowed to a certain extent. However, liberalizing fishing restrictions could disturb the wildlife and aggravate the depredation situation. Rep Page Belcher promised to look into the matter and provide more information.
