Scope and Contents
The letter is from the Bureau of Indian Affairs regarding Mary M. Shavney's eligibility for a grant due to discrepancies in her Indian blood degree. The Bureau states that they have issued a statement concerning her Indian blood and she is now eligible to apply for financial aid at the school she plans to attend.
