Scope and Contents
The letter addresses concerns from the Cherokee tribe regarding the upcoming election for Council members and absentee voting procedures. They feel the procedures are not in compliance with state laws and request that the Bureau of Indian Affairs and Secretary of the Interior review and assure the procedures are in line with the Voter Rights Act.
