Scope and Contents

The testimony presented to the Senate Subcommittee on Indian Affairs by representatives of the Michigan State Department of Education focused on the need for accurate counting of Indian students in schools, continued funding through the Johnson-O'Malley Act, and the establishment of an Indian Desk in each State Department of Education.
