Title: Amendment to Tribal Contract Term Limitations, 1953-01-01 - 1975-12-31
Scope and Contents
This proposed modification of the Abourezk amendment states that contracts requested by a tribe must not exceed one year unless the Secretary determines a longer term is appropriate, with a maximum term of three years. The contracts can be renegotiated annually to account for cost increases, but not beyond the control of the tribal organization.
