Report on Indian Housing Deficiencies and Solutions: A Call for Attention and Action, 1975-01-01 - 1975-12-31

Scope and Contents

The Inter-Tribal Council, Inc. is representing eight tribes in Oklahoma and is concerned about the state of Indian Housing Programs. They believe there are many deficiencies in the current housing projects and emphasize the need for continued improvement and maintenance. They suggest that more attention to planning, completion, detail, and the needs of Indian families is necessary to solve the housing problem. They also propose that a specific government entity be responsible for administering Indian Housing Programs.
