Scope and Contents

The Assistant Secretary of the Department of Housing and Urban Development responds to a letter from Senator Bartlett regarding Indian housing programs in Oklahoma. A task force has been appointed to study the administration of these programs and address concerns raised. Options for transferring jurisdiction and audits are being discussed, and a manual is being prepared. A more detailed response will be provided after the task force completes its study.
