Scope and Contents
During a hearing on Indian housing, various housing authority executives presented their experiences with delays in the process of building and repairing homes. They cited issues with HUD processing applications, lack of audits, and outside groups causing delinquency in payments. Witnesses also suggested solutions such as hiring more staff and improving communication with participants. Senator Bartlett expressed concern over the inefficiency of the program and the need for a successful delivery system.
