Scope and Contents
The memorandum is about the release of a curriculum bulletin titled "Guidelines for Teaching Concepts of Fairness, Justice and Democracy in BIA and Tribal-Contract Schools". The bulletin was created to review student rights in BIA schools and includes new Manual Policies and Federal Regulations on Student Rights and Responsibilities. The goal is for Education personnel to use the document effectively to benefit Indian youth and society at large.
