Scope and Contents

Mr. John D. Free wrote a letter to Senator Dewey F. Bartlett expressing frustration with the Bureau of Indian Affairs for not approving his application for an IMDP grant. He explains that he had difficulty completing the application and feels there were mistakes in the evaluation process. He requests the Senator's assistance in addressing the situation. Senator Bartlett responds, acknowledging the lack of funds for the program and advising Mr. Free on how to appeal the decision if he wishes to do so.
