Scope and Contents

The letter informs Mrs. Rita McAllister Megehee that her daughter, Alicia Carole Megehee, is being removed from the membership roll of the Sac and Fox Tribe of Oklahoma due to not meeting the membership requirements of having at least 1/4 degree Sac and Fox Indian blood. Despite being given the opportunity to appeal, no appeal was made within the allotted time, leading to the approval of the removal. Mrs. Megehee is given the option to appeal the decision to the Secretary of the Interior.
