Scope and Contents

Miss Lavinia Alberson wrote to Congressman Albert regarding the sale of segregated coal and asphalt lands of the Chickasaw and Choctaw Tribes. Congressman Albert replied that the contract was under consideration and that members enrolled under date of March 4, 1906 and the heirs of deceased enrollees would be entitled to receive a payment.
