Scope and Contents

Mrs. Neal wrote to Congressman Jones asking for his support in President Nixon's efforts to control federal spending. Congressman Jones responded by expressing his concern over increasing federal expenditures and assuring Mrs. Neal that he will carefully scrutinize all proposals in order to protect the American taxpayer.
