Scope and Contents

John T. Andrews, a Civil Service employee at Fort Sill, Oklahoma, requested a transfer to the Internal Revenue Collector's Office or the Post Office Service in order to be closer to his family. His request was acknowledged by Honorable L. M. Gensman, who informed him that it would be difficult to accomplish. The Civil Service Commission confirmed Andrews' eligibility for transfer and provided information on the process. Gensman continued to offer his assistance and support in Andrews' transfer request.
