Scope and Contents

District Number Four of the Ohio State Nurses' Association has sent a letter to Honorable C.B. Schwabe regarding the recruitment of Registered Nurses and their use by the armed services. They have requested an investigation by Congress before passing a National Service Act that would permit the drafting of nurses. The letter includes a copy of resolutions denouncing accusations of lack of patriotism towards Registered Nurses and calling for a review of the recruitment program to address any deficiencies.
