Scope and Contents

Dr. Cecile E. Reed of Vinita, Oklahoma, wrote a letter to Hon. George B. Schwabe expressing appreciation for his remarks and observations on the trend of paternalism and bureaucracy in Washington. Schwabe responded, thanking Dr. Reed for her letter and offering his assistance whenever needed. Dr. Reed mentioned that she, a Democrat, voted for Schwabe, a Republican, and was pleased with his representation in Congress.
