Mrs. B.C. Wheeler wrote to Congressman George B. Schwabe about H.R. 2346, which seeks to give Merchant Marine boys the same rights as veterans under the G.I. Bill. Schwabe responds, saying the issue is controversial and he will consider the arguments before voting on it. Wheeler urges Schwabe to support the bill so that Merchant Marine boys can take advantage of the benefits it offers.
