Scope and Contents

The letter is a response from Congressman George B. Schwabe to the Nowata Chamber of Commerce, thanking them for their support of his efforts on the anti-strike bill. Schwabe expresses his belief that the President is not taking a strong stance on labor legislation, and vows to continue fighting to curb the power of unions. The Chamber of Commerce had conducted a poll of their business men who all supported Schwabe's efforts. Schwabe expresses gratitude for the support from his old home town and friends.
