Scope and Contents

The first letter from George B. Schwabe expresses concern about the labor situation and criticizes the Administration for not taking sufficient action to address it. He believes the interests of the public and rank and file of labor are not being prioritized. The second letter from Mrs. S. E. Scisson also criticizes the power of labor unions and urges Congress to take action to curb their influence. Both letters express frustration with the current state of labor relations.
